2nd All Pakistan DICE Textile Innovation event-2017 started on 28 March,2017. Dr.Muhammad Ashraf Chairman PSF was chief guest of ceremony. Around 70 CEOs and representatives of 150 companies were present in starting ceremony. Total 100+ innovative projects from 26 universities were presented. It was one of biggest gathering of industry and academia as far as out put of the event was concerned. President FCCI Sheikh Saeed Ahmad , Ex-President SCCI Dr Khurram Khawaja, Mian Muhammad latif and Shazad A Sheikh member BoGs were also present in opening ceremony. President DICE Foundation USA appreciated the efforts of NTU management for  organizing such a mega event he especially Rector Prof.Dr Tanveer Hussain, Dr.Yasir Nawab and Mr Muzzamal Hussain. Dr Tanveer Hussain Rector NTU shown his commitment to make NTU one of the best institute of Pakistan.​
