On the International day of poetry ,NTU Iqbal Society and NTU literary Society arranged a beautiful event of "Mushaiyra" by the collective efforts of president Iqbal Society "Hassan Butt" , President Literary Society " Sohaib Haider" and "Mujahid Pasha".
More then 20 poets were there in the Mushaiyra from different cities of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Chief Guest was "Nusrat Siddiqui" a famous poet of Faisalabad and the guest of honor was "Anjum Saleemi".
Hero of the day was "Toqeer Gillani" from Kotli Azad Kashmir. "Ammar Iqbal" from Karachi and "Ali Zaryoun" from Faisalabad also amused a lot the audience. Sir Mansoor Rathore 1998's graduate of NTU was also in the event. other poets were Maqsood wafa, Nadeem Roomi, Mehmood Raza Syed, Uzma Naqvi, Gulnaz, Bahnam Ahmed, Imran Aami, Riffat Yasmeen Kainat Ahmed, Asif Ali wasiq, Aneeq , Akhtar Munir, ALi zaid ,Mawa Khan etc. Society arranged a Bethak too with poets and Students of NTU at cafeteria.
At the end of the event Rector NTU Dr. Tanveer Hussain thanked all of the guests and distributed certificates and shields to guests and organizing team.
