Department of Computer Science Organized a training session on 'Implementation of Outcome Based Education in HEIs' for faculty members of the School of Science

The Department of Computer Science at National Textile University (NTU) organized a comprehensive training session on "Implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)" on May 15, 2025, held at the AI and Robotics Lab. Dr. Hafsa Jamshaid (Chairperson of the Department Textile Engineering and Associate Professor) served as the resource person for the session.  She delivered valuable insights into the foundational principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), including the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, and explored innovative strategies for its effective implementation to enhance learning outcomes and streamline academic planning. Faculty members from the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Applied Sciences actively participated, engaging in a meaningful discussion on the challenges faced in adopting OBE across HEIs. Dr. Muhammad Asif (Chairman DCS/Associate Professor) presented a souvenir to Dr. Hafsa Jamshaid to thank her for her valuable contribution.
