Dr. Muhammad Usman, Assistant Professor at Faisalabad Business School, National Textile University, arranged a tour for BS Textile Apparel and Merchandising (4th Semester) students to Gohar Textile Mills in Faisalabad on March 9, 2024. Mr. Shahid Afzal, GM of Marketing, and Mr. Muhammad Fazal Mubarak, Deputy GM of Marketing, welcomed the students. The students visited the departments of Spinning, Weaving, Processing, Stitching, and Marketing, showing keen interest in the operations of each. Mr. Shahid Afzal explained the marketing function of the industry. Moreover, He also shed light on the importance of merchandising in the textile industry. Finally, discussions were held regarding potential collaboration between NTU and Gohar Textile.
