An enlightening workshop on sustainable approaches in fashion design was organized by Shahid Zaheer (Program head Fashion Design) at the National Textile University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. In the workshop, the students (6th semester, Fashion Design) explored the significance of sustainability in the fashion industry. Dr. Zafar Javed, (Director SOAD) the esteemed speaker, delved into innovative practices and strategies for creating environment-friendly and socially responsible fashion designs, addressing issues such as fair labor practices, ethical sourcing, and community empowerment. This opportunity allowed students to learn and contribute towards a more sustainable and equitable future for fashion and society.
