The MOU was signed between the National Textile University and the Ihsan Trust. The signing ceremony was held on December 19, 2023. Mr. Fayyaz-ur-Rehman Khan, General Manager of Ihsan Trust (Meezan Bank), visited NTU and provided a detailed presentation on Ihsan Trust and Islamic Banking to the students, faculty, and management of NTU.

Ihsan Trust provides an interest-free loan facility to 4000 students from 160+ universities across Pakistan. He also shed light on the fundamental ideas, concepts, and principles of Islamic banking. Further students of FBS were briefly guided by him about the differences between Islamic banking and conventional banking.

Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Rector NTU, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Baig, Dean Faisalabad Business School, and Dr. Danish Mahmood Baitab, Advisor Students, signed the MoU.
