In a commendable effort to raise awareness about breast cancer during Pink October, WINGS Society, in collaboration with the School of Arts and Design and sponsored by Kamal Cares, conducted a two-day event at National Textile University. The event, aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness, featured a variety of engaging activities for students.

On October 30, 2023, Worthy Rector Dr. Tanveer Hussain inaugurated the event. Dr. Zafar Javed (Dean SOAD) and Dr Sajjad Baig (Dean FBS) graced the event with their presence. The first day kicked on with a poster design competition, where participants showcased their artistic talents, creating visually compelling posters dedicated to breast cancer awareness. The event was followed by an awareness walk, where participants donned shades of pink, symbolizing solidarity and support for breast cancer fighters and survivors.
