Training on 3D printer designing and printing was organized at SOAD for the faculty members. It aimed to equip design faculty with the necessary expertise to incorporate 3D printing technology into their curriculum.

The training was divided into two sessions, in the first session the software to design 3D forms was taught by the trainer, Dr.Zafar Javed. Participants learned how to create and optimize 3D models and troubleshoot common issues. In the second session, hands-on training on the printer was executed from the very first step till the making of the 3D form. By equipping design faculty with the necessary skills and knowledge, SOAD can play an essential role in nurturing a new generation of designers well-versed in 3D printing technology.
