Baico Bio. Tech. (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd (BBT), China, has joined hands with National Textile University (NTU) to develop and introduce sustainable products according to the needs of the Pakistani woven textile market. BBT has been a very famous textile granular enzyme manufacturer since 2004. Dr. Sharjeel Abid, Assistant Professor, Department of Textile Engineering, is the principal investigator of this international collaborative project. The project is one of the many efforts of NTU to promote industry-academia linkages. The expected outcomes of this project are to foster sustainable production with reduced water and energy consumption, and to have a positive impact on the environment.
