School of Arts and Design upgraded their laboratory equipment of Ceramics and Jewelry Design

School of Arts and Design is committed to provide the students with the equipment that fosters their understanding and upgrades their insight related to the Arts and Design world. Latest machinery and equipment enhance direct learning experiences of students by performing various tasks and testing new ideas. Students can examine their theoretical understanding tangibly by utilizing the apparatus and tools in laboratories and can covert learning to an enduring experience.

In this instance, there is a new addition to the School of Arts and Design’s Hi-Tech Design laboratory, a high-temperature Muffle furnace, that can perform up to 1400 degree Celsius. It was needed especially for the experimentation in ceramics and jewelry design. Now, the students will be able to convert their conceptual design from paper to 3-D products easily. The Hi-Tech design lab is being run under the guidance of trained faculty and staff.
