Team Design (NTU) is putting untiring efforts to break the academic stereotype of dissociation of classroom learning and experiential world, and is striving hard to position the design department to the level of world’s top design schools. In persuasion to this vision, the department of design had organized a faculty tour to one of the leading Design House of Pakistan “GSMB Ventures”, on December 14^th, 2019.

Dr. Zafar Javed along with his vibrant team visited GSMB Ventures and had a meeting with Co-Founder of the organization. Babar Rashid Khan (CEO) and his leading Designer ‘Mah Para’ stressed the need to initiate a strong link between the department of design and the fashion industry. It was a healthy discussion about synergizing the strengths of both sides and mapping the way forward to rectify weaknesses. It was a resolve of both sides that a joint effort is required to equip our graduates with the skills and attitudes that are needed to compete in the demanding environment of today’s fashion world. GSMB Ventures showed a strong willingness to cooperate with NTU and to work together for the betterment of the nation.
