The 5^th convocation of National Textile University was held on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Worthy Rector, Professor Dr. Tanvir Hussain presided over the convocation. During the convocation, 46 Gold medals, 39 Silver medals and 1473 degrees were awarded to the undergraduate and postgraduate students who passed with distinction. Prominent among those who attended the convocation were: Abdul Majeed and Mian Azher Majeed, members of BoG. Rector, Dr. Tanvir Hussain and Controller of Examinations, Muhammad Zabihullah Khan distributed medals among the distinguished students.

While addressing to faculty, students and parents, the Rector said: “ Today, we are celebrating a day of achievements. I congratulate the graduating students and their families on this important occasion. I hope that you will be able to give back to your profession and community more than what we have attempted to inculcate to you. Moreover, I would like to congratulate faculty for their contributions in making this a success story. I wish you every success as you enter this next exciting stage of your life and career and very much hopeful that you would contribute positively to whatsoever the field you choose for your life.”
