Dr. Beenish Qamar is serving as an assistant professor at the National Textile University and has done her MS in HR and her Ph.D. as an indigenous scholar of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. During her Ph.D., she went to the University of California, Irvine, USA, as an IRSIP scholar for six months to work on her dissertation under the supervision of a distinguished professor of management. Her Ph.D. dissertation was a multilevel study of leader political skills and followers' self-concept. Her main research areas are power dynamics in organizations, social influence, and self-concepts.
