The Student Affairs office supports the academic mission of the university by providing variety of services that assist students in identifying, clarifying and achieving their educational and career goals. This office functions as a friend and guide of a student, catering to his needs from the time he makes the first inquiry regarding admission to the time he graduates from it.
An important function of this office is to promote extra-curricular activities among students and to provide them healthy outlets in sports and games. Through active participation in variety of programs and services, students will have the opportunity to experience and develop leadership skills that complement and support their academic studies. Student Affairs cultivates tomorrow's civic minded and service oriented textile engineers.
Counseling Service
The Student Affairs Office has a full-time Director Student Affairs, who is readily available for students to sort out their problems, which they encounter incampus while being on the campus. The students are encouraged to have recourse to him for counseling and guidance on all problems.
The office makes extra efforts to help students to manage their affairs independently and to cope with strains and stresses, which are a part of the growth process.

The office of undergraduate Admissions introduces educational opportunities to students who are motivated to achieve academic excellence. The staff strives to meet student enrollment goals provide up-to-date information to all prospective students. The University follows the strict merit policy. There are no special quotas, reserved seats or admission by donations. In fact, the
“University is open to all persons of any religion, baradri, creed or class who are academically qualified for admission to the courses of study offered by the University, and no such person shall be denied the privileges of the University on the grounds of, religion, creed, race, class, baradri."
Admission to the Bachelor Programs of the University is decided on the basis of candidates' score in the
NTS test (50% weightage), Marks of F.Sc (40% weight age),
and Marks of Matriculation (10% weight age) which comprises multiple-choice questions based on Pakistani intermediate level Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English.

The applicants must have one of the following qualifications with overall score of at least 60% excluding NCC marks:
a . F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)
b. B.Sc. (Physics & Maths).
c. Three A-levels (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and seven O-levels.
d. American or Canadian High School Diploma (Grade-12) (with Calculus, Physics and Chemistry).
e. International Baccalaureate (with Calculus, Physics and Chemistry)
Candidates may apply for provisional admission if they have completed one of the above courses but have not yet taken the examination or received their results.
Applicants who are provisionally admitted must ensure that their results must be reached in the Admission Office by the specified date.
Confirmation of admission will be subject to:
• an undertaking by the student and his father/guardian to abide by the rules and regulations framed by the University from time to time.

An academic year comprises two semesters of sixteen teaching weeks each and an eight-week summer semester. The semester timings are as following: -
Fall - August to December
Spring - January to May
Summer - June to July
The last week of the semester is allotted to the final examinations. There is normally one mid-term break in a semester.
Duration of Studies
Students have to complete their entire Bachelor's degree requirements with in the following time limits: -

Female Students
Engineering is no more an exclusively male domain. It offers a host of highly rewarding careers, which suit the special endowments of women. The University encourages female students to join the textile engineering profession and has taken measures to provide a very supportive milieu for them. It has a separate girls hostel with all the modern amenities.
Overseas Applicants
The eligibility requirements for the overseas applicants are the same as for the applicants from within Pakistan. They may,
however, take the Scholastic Aptitude Test II in Physics and Mathematics (Math IIC) in place of the Admission Test. The applicant needs to choose one basis of their admission i.e. Admission Test or SAT IIC, and option once exercised cannot be changed.
Applications
The fee for the application packet is Rs.
700/- (US$ 40 for overseas applicants) and can be paid in cash if the admission material is collected in person. If sought by post, the fee of Rs.
800/- should be sent in the form of a money order or a bank draft payable to NTU. Overseas applicants should send US$ 40 in the form of a bank draft issued in favour of the NTU.

The completed application form, the required supporting documents and a non-refundable application-processing fee of Rs.
700/- (US$ 50 for overseas applicants) should reach the Admission Office at National Textile University by the due date.
Applicants are advised to ensure that the application is complete in all respect with application processing fee of Rs.
1000/- and the required documents, which are:
1. Two copies of recent passport size photographs
2. One attested
copy of each of Matriculation, F.Sc. or Equivalent and B.Sc. result cards.
3. One attested
copy of valid Domicile Certificate.
4. Attested copy of National Identity Card of Father/Guardian
The University is a non-profit organization providing subsidized education.

for diploma Courses:
Candidate must have passed his/her matriculation exam with science subjects. Admissions are opened in August.
Executive training courses have been designed for executives, engineers, and professionals to meet the industry's crucial requirements.
These courses are announced time-to-time (on “when-needed” basis) or at proposal from the industry.
