Industrial tour of 3rd semester of Weaving department to Sapphire Diamond Fabrics
Society of Textile Weavers arranged an industrial tour to Sapphire Diamond Fabrics on November 5, 2016 for the students 3rd Semester of Weaving department.
Sapphire Diamond Fabrics is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of textile products in Pakistan that follows SA-8000 Standard which is an auditable certification standard based on International workplace norms of International Labor Organization (ILO). This group has over 14,000 employees and annual turnover US $ 450 Million.
Such activities can abridge distance between industry and academia and training of students in actual working environment.
