Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad has granted NOC for launching of Ph.D. Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, National Textile University, Faisalabad. The said NOC has been issued on June 28, 2016.

NTU Rector Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain congratulated Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hussain, Dean Faculty of Science and told that launching of Ph.D. Chemistry is an honor for NTU. Dr Muhammad Tahir Hussain assured him that the research under this program will be carried out according to the modern standards and keeping in view the challenges faced by textile sector of Pakistan. The state of the art labs at NTU will help and facilitate the research work for the said program. Besides Ph.D. Chemistry, the Faculty of Science is successfully running Ph.D. Computer Science, MS Computer Science, MS Math and undergraduate programs.
