The NTU-PMYDC Quran Society organized an awareness and learning session at the National Textile University in connection with the United Nations–observed International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism as and When Conducive to Terrorism (PVE Day) on February 12, 2026. Dr. M. Yaseen, Convener NTU-PMYDC Quran Society, delivered a comprehensive lecture highlighting the role of Quranic teachings in promoting peace, tolerance, and social harmony. He emphasized addressing the root causes of extremism through education, ethical values, and positive youth engagement. Faculty members and students actively participated, making the session a meaningful contribution toward fostering peace and countering violent extremism through knowledge and dialogue.
