Plantation Drive Promotes Green Campus Initiative at NTU-GYM


The PM-YDC Green Youth Movement Club (GYM) successfully organized a Plantation Drive at the National Textile University on 8 January 2026 to promote environmental sustainability and a greener campus. The drive was formally inaugurated by Rector Dr. Rashid Masood, who emphasized the importance of tree plantation for a sustainable future. Faculty members, staff, and GYM club members were present also. Dr. M Hamza, Convener PM-YDC Green Youth Movement Club, highlighted that GYM always encourages eco-friendly initiatives among students and staff. Ms. Nadia Shamim Focal Person NTU-GYM, Liza Abrish President GYM and members participated by planting a sapling during the drive.  Additionally, GYM members placed indoor plants in various offices to enhance greenery and promote environmental awareness across the campus.
