For the professional growth of students of Department of Yarn Manufacturing, an industrial tour was arranged under the banner of Society of Textile Spinners 2018-2019 on December 3, 2018. 50 students from 2nd year accompanied with final year students visited the Midas Safety.

Midas Safety deals with the production of yarn by open end spinning technique using Autocoro Rotor machines. Midas Safety specializes in making technical yarns used for technical applications. It also produces technical safety gloves for industrial use and have its markets spread across all over Europe and other international markets.

On arrival at Midas safety, Mr. Abubakar Marwat warmly welcomed the students and prayed for their successful future. Students were also entertained by snacks and after the visit; a group photo was taken with all the delegations and the mill representatives.
