Society of Textile Knitters arranged a seminar on “Lean Startup”. Lean Startup method teaches about how to drive a startup-how to steer, when to turn, and when to persevere-and grow a business with maximum acceleration. Lean manufacturing makes obvious what adds value, by reducing everything else (which is not adding value). This management philosophy is derived mostly from the Toyota Production System (TPS) and identified as "lean" only in the 1990s.

Mr.Kamran Akthar (HOD Product Development Center) was the guest speaker. He delivered his talk on the importance of product development and research & innovation by implementing lean tools.
