Department of Garment Manufacturing, National Textile University Faisalabad started 2nd Phase of 6 months Diploma in Garment Manufacturing under Prime Minister Youth Skill Program NAVTTC Phase-II on 14th May 2018 (Monday). Total 25 deserving needy students are enrolled in this program. NAVTTC is an apex body at national level to regulate, facilitate and provide policy direction in Vocational & Technical Training. Vision of this program is Skills for Employability, Skills for All. In the opening session Dr Abher Rasheed Chairman GMD and Program Coordinator Mirza Mahmood Akhtar (Lecturer GMD) discussed the current challenges faced by Apparel Manufacturing Sector and importance of this course.
