“Visit to Home” brings together the diverse art practices of Faisalabad based artists who expanded their art practices to explore new mediums, influences and techniques.

The main objective of the exhibitors were to grapple with and revisit stereotypical notions of art making. Their vision challenges static perceptions, initiates dialogue and debate while their common lived experiences as diaspora artists embody a fresh perspective in highlighting the role and potential of the center-periphery as a source of artistic enrichment within the country.

An exhibition of this nature is the first of its kind and marks a turning point for prevalent art making trends in the city.
