NTU Debating Club in collaboration with HEC, Pakistan organized "First Round of 20^th All Pakistan Inter-University Declamation Contest for Award of Allama Iqbal Shield” on March 13, 2018 in the university auditorium to promote unity, patriotism, critical thinking amongst student and divert their energies towards gainful activities.

Students from all departments participated in the declamation contest. Fiza Khalid, Frasat Sultan, and Abdul Moeed got 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd positions respectively in English category whereas Muhammad Tahir, Ajwad Umair, and Laiba Shakeel got 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd positions respectively in Urdu category.

At the end, the President of NTU Debating Club, Mr. Muhammad Nasir Wazir thanked the chief guest, jury members, teachers and the audience in his closing remarks.
