National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad feels honor in collaborating with Pakistan Army and Crestex Pvt Ltd. in hoisting eighth largest flag in the world and first in South Asia at Wagah border. National Textile University technically designed this flag, and further development was done as per required size by Crestex. The dimensions of the flag are 80 ft × 120 ft. The Polyester/Dyneema yarn and special weave design was used for this development. Rector NTU appreciated NTU team comprising of Dr. Yasir Nawab, Mr. Muhammad Umar Nazir and Mr. Muhammad Ayub Asghar for their efforts to accomplish this task.
