Training Session on “Role of Pedagogy in Enhancing Teaching and Learning Effectiveness”


The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University (NTU), Karachi Campus, successfully organized an interactive training session titled “Role of Pedagogy in Enhancing Teaching and Learning Effectiveness” on January 29, 2026. This critical session brought together the faculty, including HoD and Program Coordinators, for a focused conversation on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of teaching at NTU, Karachi Campus.

The session was led by Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director, NTU Karachi Campus. It served as a cornerstone for faculty development, equipping faculty with the tools and insights needed to meet the evolving demands of student-centered learning. Faculty was engaged with cutting-edge pedagogical strategies, from inclusive classroom practices to the latest in educational technology, fostering an environment where learning is dynamic, meaningful, and continues beyond the university’s doors. 

The training concluded with an interactive discussion that provided faculty members the opportunity to reflect on their current teaching practices and explore innovative pedagogical approaches to further enhance teaching and learning effectiveness. Participants acknowledged the initiative as a significant step toward strengthening academic quality and pedagogical excellence at NTU Karachi Campus.
