On November 23^rd, a seminar on anti-drug awareness was organized by NTU Society for Innovation & Leadership (NSIL) for the students of Karachi Campus to provide young individuals with information on the risks associated with drug abuse.

The distinguished guest for the occasion was Lt. Col Anwar Hussain, Regional Director of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh.  He shared insightful case studies and give a detailed presentation having eye opening data and pics on drugs abuse. Lt. Col Anwar Hussain emphasize the pivotal role of making judicious choices in social circle and its influence on habits. He also shed light on the commendable initiatives undertaken by the ANF team and provided a comprehensive overview of drug types and the detrimental effects they impose on our mental and physical health.

This seminar served as a platform for fostering awareness and understanding, empowering attendees with the knowledge needed to make informed choices and contribute to a drug-free community.

At the end Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director, NTU-Karachi Campus thanked Lt. Col Anwar Hussain, Regional Direcor, ANF Sindh for sharing detailed information and insight on drugs abuse by sharing case studies with student, faculty and staff of NTU-Karachi Campus. Director, NTU-Karachi Campus also  presented a shield as token of appreciation to Lt. Col Anwar Hussain. He also thanked the office bearers and members of NTU Society for Innovation & Leadership (NSIL) for organizing a great event and HoD(T&C), Ms. Maira, Ms. Safoora and all the faculty of Campus for their support in organizing the event and attending the seminar.
