Students of NTU-KC participated in the 18th International Conference on Statistical Sciences, Lahore


Students of 7th semester from Textile Engineering (Department of Textile & Clothing) of National Textile University Karachi Campus participated in 18th International Conference on Statistical Sciences.  The students presented three accepted papers in the conference that was held on February 18-20, 2021 at Imperial College of Business Studies, Lahore, Pakistan.

Presented papers were the mini project of Textile engineering (7th semester) and Polymer engineering (3rd semester) students that have been completed under the supervision of Dr. Danish Hassan (Asst. Prof. Mathematics, Applied Sciences).

The faculty members Dr. Arsalan Ahmed (Dpt. of Textile & Clothing), Dr. S. Saqib Shams (Dpt. of Polymer Engineering), Dr. Muhammad Ayyoob (Dpt. of Polymer Engineering), Dr. Hamza Khan (Dpt. of Textile & Clothing) & Engr. Umair Alam (Dpt. of Textile & Clothing) were also contributed and guided the students. Chairmen department of Textile & Clothing Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan and Director Campus Professor Dr. Khalid Pasha appreciated and motivated the students to participate in international conference.

The titles of three presented papers are as under.

  1. Exports and Imports of Pakistan in Textile Hosepiping, Similar Textile Tubing, with or without Lining, Armour or Accessories of other Materials (2010 – 2019)
  2. Statistical Analysis of Net Profit of Sapphire Textile Mill Lahore.
  3. Application of Simple Regression on wall Thickness of pipe using Nominal Pressure PN-16 and PN-20

Furthermore, the names of students from two departments (Dpt. of Textile & Polymer) who involved in the mini-project and research work are:
