QEC of NTU KC has completed the 1st Cycle of Self-Assessment Process for Bachelor of Fashion Design


Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University, Karachi Campus has completed the 1st Cycle of Self-Assessment Process for Bachelor of Fashion Design (BFD) Program.

The Self-Assessment Team was comprised of Dr. Zafar Javed (Assistant Professor/Dean FHSS/Subject Expert) and Mr. Muhammad Umar Iqbal (Lecturer/Subject Expert) from National Textile University, Faisalabad. The Assessment Team evaluated the Program of Bachelor of Fashion Design (BFD) on January 29, 2021 via Video Conferencing.

Program Team members headed by Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan, Assistant Professor/Chairman DTC, Mr. Danial Mubarak, Lecturer/Program Coordinator Fashion Design, Ms. Saleha Javed, Lecturer and Ms. Haleema, Lecturer. Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) team was comprised of Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Shaikh, Assistant Professor/Deputy Director QEC and  Mr. Muhammad Usman, Assistant Director QEC (NTU Karachi Campus), Mr. Muhammad Haroon, Assistant Director QEC and Mr. Muhammad Naeem, Lecturer/Member QEC (NTU Main Campus).

The Assessment Team verified the information provided in the SAR by the Program Team members for the program of Bachelor of Fashion Design. The quantitative assessment was further carried out on the standard Rubric proforma of Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan by using qualitative method. Few observations and suggestions are given for improvement accordingly.
