On 25 July 2019 Army Officers from ordnance College Malir Cantt Karachi came for Study visit at NTU Karachi Campus. The duration of the study visit was one day including Class Lectures, Facilities visit / Demonstration, Lunch and Certificate distribution to the participants.

Class lectures included different topics:

• Basics of Textiles
• Overview of Textile Raw Material
• Spinning
• Weaving & Knitting
• Textile Processing
• Textile Testing  and Quality Control

After the class lectures Army Officers visited different departments of Textile & Clothing including complete Melt spinning lab, Yarn Manufacturing, Fabric Manufacturing (weaving & knitting), Textile Processing, Textile Testing and Garment Manufacturing.

At the end, certificate distribution ceremony was held. Certificates were distributed by honorable Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director NTU-Karachi campus in the presence of Chairman Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan and Faculty of Department of Textile and Clothing.
