1st NTU Karachi Campus Alumni get-together was arranged by Department of Textile & Clothing on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Around 250 people participated from 45 different textile industries, textile ministry, Pakistan Army and different universities. Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Rector NTU joined this gathering as a chief guest. It was started from the recitation of Holy Quran. Prof Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director NTU Karachi Campus gave the welcome speech in which he highlighted the objectives of event.

Chief guest Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Worthy Rector, NTU) highlighted the importance of industry- academia linkage, internships of student, final year projects and mutual research. All alumni agreed to support NTU Karachi campus regarding industrial visit of students, internships of students, final year projects and faculty trainings.  At the end, Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan (Chairperson, Textile & Clothing Department) addressed as vote for thanks to all participants, faculty/staff and Director Campus for their great support.
