Department of Textile & Clothing arranged a Training workshop on the topic of “Physical Testing of Textile” for two weeks from 24 June to 05 July June, 2019 for Inspection & Quality control staff of Army Stores & Inspection Depot (ASID), Karachi. Topic covered were, Quality characteristics and importance, Sampling methods, Inspection Standards in Textile, Quality cost and its types, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Fabric Inspection, Fabric defects. Lab demonstration of Physical Testing of different tests was also performed during two weeks.

At the last day certificates were distributed among participants by Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan, Chairman of Textile & Clothing Department. Faculty members of Department were also present including (Engr. Mohsin Ali, Lecturer),( Engr. Zarqa  Shahzadi, Lecture), (Engr. Nabi Bakhsh, Lecture), (Engr. Umair Alam, Lecture), (Engr. Nafees Hassan, Lab engineer), (Engr. Tufail Hassan, Lab engineer).
