Department of Textile & Clothing arranged a Training workshop on the topic of “Clothing Technology” for two weeks from 17 June to 28 June, 2019 for Inspection & Quality control staff of Inspectorate of Army Stores and Clothing (IAS & C), Karachi. Topic covered was introduction to Raw Materials, Yarn Manufacturing, Fabric Manufacturing, Chemical Processing, Clothing Production, Textile Testing. Inspection Standards in Textile, Quality Control and Physical Testing of different tests.

At the last day certificates were distributed among participants from IAS & C. Chief guest was Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director NTU-Karachi campus. Chairman of Textile & Clothing (Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan) along with Faculty members of Department were also present.
