“Mr. Jacky Cheung from China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC); visited the Polymer Engineering department of NTU KC on July 5^th, 2019.

CHEC is currently working on PDWCP Container Yard and Buildings Phase-II at Karachi Port as a sub-project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Dr. S. Saqib Shams, Chairman of Polymer Engineering department, highlighted the importance of using high standard polymer materials in their projects and apprised about the technical expertise coupled with state of the art equipment which NTU KC’s Polymer Engineering department has to offer.

By the grace of God, CHEC has agreed to have their procured Plastic pipes tested from NTU KC for quality control.
