Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a Korean governmental organization for Official Development Assistance (ODA) that works for the enhancement of the effectiveness of South Korea's grant aid programs for developing countries by implementing the government's grant aid and technical cooperation programs. On June 14, 2019, KOICA team visited Department of Textile & Clothing, National Textile University, Karachi Campus. KOICA team was welcomed by Professor Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director Karachi Campus, Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan, Chairman of Textile & Clothing and Dr. Rashid Masood, Project coordinator. In the meeting that was held in the office of Director Karachi Campus, KOICA team briefed about utilization of KOICA project and the upgradation of PKGTI project to “degree/engineering program”.

After the meeting KOICA team visited the department and took interest in equipment available in Department of textile and clothing. At the end, KOICA team appreciated the efforts of National Textile University, Karachi Campus for utilizing the laboratory equipment given by KOICA for the overall benefit of students.
