NEST Scholarships for Master / PhD Engineering Programs Only (Intake Fall-2018)

It is notified for the information of all the students of MS/Ph.D Engineering Programs only (Intake Fall-2018) who have domicile of less developed districts as notified by Ministry of Planning, Development & Reform that National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (NEST) Scholarships are available for the deserving students. Students who meet all the prescribed conditions may apply on the form available at the University Photocopier Shops (Form is also available at NTU website). Application forms alongwith all supporting documents may be submitted in the office of the undersigned latest by November 16, 2016 (Friday). Incomplete forms will be rejected.
As Per NEST Policy, the students must have:
1.Domicile holder of less developed district (as listed by NEST) and have secured admission in MS or Ph.D program in Fall- 2018.
2.Students must not availing scholarship from any other Agency / Source.
3.Students should not be banned by the University Disciplinary Committee for scholarships or beneficial schemes.
4.The age limit should not exceed from 35 years for MS/MPhil (18 years) and PhD programs.
5.Final selection will be made by NEST as per criteria after ISAC interviews.
6.Applicants are required to attach all necessary documents i.e two undertakings, copy of domicile, own CNIC and father CNIC, death certificate (if any), disability certificate (if applicable) and attested salary slip in case job person.
