Faculty of Engineering & Technology Department of Yarn Manufacturing

An event was organized on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm in National Textile University, Faisalabad with the collaboration of SIMAG (Pvt) Ltd., and Spinning Society-2011 of Department of Yarn Manufacturing  on inauguration ceremony of latest drawing frame RSB D40 donated by RIETER, Switzerland, a leading Textile Machinery Manufacturer. On this occasion Mr. Peter Minder the Area Manager of RIETER explained about drawing frame RIETER and good relations with National Textile University.

Dr. Mumtaz Hasan Malik explained the aims and importance of textile industry upon the economy of Pakistan. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Rector of National Textile University paid thanks to Mr. Peter Minder, RIETER and SIMAG on this donation. Deans of University, Chairmen of all departments, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Chairman along with the faculty of Department of Yarn Manufacturing, General Managers from different textile mills of the country, Mr. Mohsin Masood, President Spinning Society – 2011, Mr. Waseem Abbas and Mr. Ali Raza, Sr. Coordinators, final year students and the staff of the Department of Yarn Manufacturing was also there.
At the end refreshment was also organized by the spinning society–2011.
