Advisor Student Office

 

 

The Advisor Student Office has been established to provide prospective and current students of National Textile University, Faisalabad with the necessary information in order to make them well informed about campus. This is done through information and advisory services and the constant contact with the students.
The office performs a role of bridge between students and University Administration and provides assistance in solving their day to day campus issues and provide the following services:

  • Coordination and supervision of student discipline, coaching, Student Sports, Hostel / Accommodation and other co-curricular activities.
  • To represent student point of view on campus issues
  • Preparation and distribution of student event calendar, student bulletins, magazines, etc.
  • To coordinate and promote all kinds internal or external base healthy activities
  • To handle the matters of students bodies / organizations / Societies and helping them in arranging their functions / extra-curricular activities

Clubs and Societies

Extra Curricular activities are an important part of campus
life. These include University-based or University-Sponsored Cultural, Educational, recreational and sports activities that are essential part of the social learning at National Textile University, Faisalabad.

The student Clubs / Societies are listed by University Administration and run by the students. The student office bearers (President) of all societies are selected strictly on merit basis after through inspection of applications followed by written tests and interviews conducted by the Convener, Extra Curricular Activities. The President of a society may only be from the senior most class (Final Year) of a department / Discipline.

Finally, the Advisor of each society who normally become a faculty member and the president of the society further select their cabinet through seniority cum experience basis through interviews.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF STUDENTS SOCIETIES

  4. Building the linkages with industry and business organizations

Student Sports

National Textile University gives special emphasis to arrange indoor / outdoor sports activities for the students (Male & Female) to enhance their Physical & Mental growth.
For this purpose, Student Advisor Office is continuously improving its sports infrastructure within campus to facilitate students in strengthening sports activities. A full time Sports Officer and a Gym Trainer is available for guidance of students.
