LIBRARY COLLECTION
Books
The
library has a number of 13373 books of different subjects
including spinning, weaving, knitting, processing,
mechanical engineering, physics, dying, printing chemistry,
electrical engineering, textile manufacturing, management,
marketing, computer science, literature, etc. in printed
format. It is worth mentioning that the collection of NTU
Library is unique in the country.
JOURNALS/ MAGAZINES
The
library is subscribing 34 current international/ national
journals and magazines in print format, and have bound
archive of core textile journals some of them starting from
1918 to date.
PROJECTS/ THESES/ DISSERTATIONS
Library has a number of theses/ projects in its stock. These
projects are unique in context and completed by the
graduates of NTU and submitted to Academic Departments in
different sessions.
CDs/
DISKETTES/ VIDEOS
Library has a number of 371 Electronic and Audio-Visual
resources in form of CDs/ Diskettes/ Videos in its stock.
The authentic user may consult these resources at any time.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
NTU
library operations are fully automated using stat-of-the-art
technology. The library has five PCs, one server machine all
loaded with CD players, and web based applications for users
and library staff.
LIBRARY DATABASE
NTU
library is operating with “LIBRARY WORLD”, USA base
fully integrated library software. NTU library is one of the
few libraries of Pakistan operating in a fully automated
environment.

BOOKS CATALOG – holds bibliographic information about books;
reports, CD-ROMS, government documents,
research material, reference works, etc.

SERIALS CATALOG
– provides bibliographic information and holdings of
serials in the library.
